Our software works by detecting grooming**, recognising the ways groomers behave. It looks at over 200 factors including sexual content, punctuation, aggression levels and sentence length, typing speed and vocabulary. All of these elements are compared to a dynamic database of real life groomers, as well as real-life boys and girls.
Freedom with safety
The software is intuitive and should only take a couple of minutes to install (a quick, simple download). As soon as your child uses an Instant Messaging (IM) / chat room application, the conversations will be analysed by Sky Parental Alert. When a potentially harmful conversation is detected, an alert is sent to the parent by way of email and or mobile text message (SMS). Only the part of conversation that is inappropriate will be highlighted on the parentâs control panel, thus preserving your child's privacy.
